Nick Doane
"My wife, Amy told me one time, you don't have to be the best in World, you just have to be the best that day."
It started for Nick when he and his wife Amy went to Stumpy's Hatchet House on a date in Greenville, NC back in November of 2018. No one knew after that first hour of throwing hatchets that it would only add fuel to his competitiveness for wanting more. Nick loved the first outing with this wife that when Stumpy's started their first league, Nick signed up and in this first league is where he had met Randall and Catherine Spillman.
Outside of axe throwing, Nick enjoys, spending time with his wife and son which entails traveling, sightseeing, trying new foods, going to major sporting events, hiking, and even dabbles in photography.
